Going camping is a great experience for any family since it involves a lot of fun and excitement. However, without the right tools and camping equipment, your camping trip could become a gruelling experience. This is why you need to plan in advance about all the things you will need on the trip. One can never be too sure about the quality of drinking water now-a-days. Even the bottles drinking water was found to contain harmful toxins and heavy metals that get into the water from all the industrial wastes and other wastes that we dump into the water system. Another problem with drinking purified bottled water is that you can never say how long the water has been in the bottle. Research has found that bottled water has high amounts of chlorinated and fluorinated hydrocarbons which get into the water from the plastic of the bottle. So if a bottle of water has been standing for a long time with water in it then some of these hydrocarbons get dissolved in the water and you could end up drinking them.

As stores and bottled water do not have expiry dates they are not replaced as often as they should be and so you could be in danger of consuming toxins and harmful chemicals. So what is the solution to this problem then? The answer is a water purifier. A water purifier is a simple and money saving solution that you can install in your home and not have to worry about buying bottled water or have to worry about the harmful substances in the tap water. People that are not used to drinking tap water often find that it (tap water) has a funny metallic taste to it. A water purifier not only gets rid of the harmful substances but of the funny taste as well.

A water purifier is cost effective as well. If you compare the amount you spend on bottled water to the amount you will spend to buy a water purifier then you will see that the water purifier is much more cost effective. After all you will not be spending large amounts on bottled water and the only thing that you will be spending on is the electric power that the water purifier uses. The ironic thing about bottled water is that many of them simply use tap water that is purified using a commercial water purifier so you are paying a high price for something that you can get in your own home!

Buying a water purifier makes sense on many levels and you should definitely invest in one especially if you have kids at home. There are many types of water purifiers available in the market and all you have to do is find a good deal on one that you suits your needs.

I’m bummed. We have a beautiful home and have purchased very nice pieces of furniture. I have been planning, coordinating & decorating- you know, the way wives do. Then, my husband pulls out all the (nicely) crap that he’s accumulated throughout life. Toy trains, tiny sports & jet figurines, elementary school trophies, rubiks cube puzzles, plaques. And believe me, it’s not real collectors items, rather things he showcased on his dusty dresser for years. He jokingly put them up on our new furniture, and I rolled my eyes and made him pack them away in a “sentimental keepsake box”. Then returns with a new box of random stuff that I think he is halfway serious about displaying.

I don’t want to take away his identity, or hurt his feelings. I too have special things, but prefer to have grown up decor & office accessories on my desk. Home design usually limits small gadgety pieces. He’s put me in a tough spot. How do I politely keep it looking nice?
He’s also very proud of high school woodshop projects. Don’t get me wrong, the coffee table, bread bread box and desk he made show his talent, but they are nothing fancy. I feel like a horrible witch for not displaying them with our home decor. I’m no Martha Stewart, just a very simple Target decorator, but it is very tasteful. Again, I have many art projects I can’t even believe I did, but there just isn’t a place for it in our home…Is it sooo bad that I don’t prefer to use the old sentimental stuff. I just love to decorate, it’s what makes me tick! An old coffee table in oak just doesn’t compliment or match our new furniture.
